Great hotel in the Gothic Quarter

This is a great hotel in the Gothic Quarter. We arrived in pouring rain & luckily our driver dropped us off right at the hotel, which is not always allowed, since it is on a narrow street in the quarter. It is around a 5 min walk to Plaza Catalunya & the Barcelona Cathedral. Some guests who weren’t dropped off right at the hotel said they spent over 30 min walking the quarter trying to find it. The room was small but very clean. There was limited storage but we made do for the 5 nights we were in Barcelona. The bathroom was a good size with great water pressure in the shower. The room had a large window but it did not open. We were given small treats every day - candies or biscotti, which was a nice touch. We were there for St. Jordi day and had a rose in our room, with a description of the meaning behind the day & why roses are given. It was a very nice gesture. Breakfast was included. It was very limited in options but we found enough to eat. A very nice feature was the coffee bar that was open every day from 1p - 8p, My mom enjoyed having a few afternoon coffees each day. There was nothing in the room to make a coffee or tea. We were here during the week & the hotel was very quiet. I imagine it may be louder over the weekend.

Superb location in the heart of Bario Gothico! Metro stations are very close and the entire Gothic quarter is at your door steps. The 'family room' is spacious and comfortable, the standard room a bit on the 'cosy' side, but the location makes it all worth it! The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Mamen looks after you at breakfast with attention and grace. Breakfast has a great selection of pastries, cold cuts eggs to your preferences and a decent coffee that can put a positive spin on the start of your day. I would highly recommend it!

I’ll get to the point: The room was clean, the shower is awesome, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was very good, our server Mamen was very responsive. We had freshly scrambled eggs daily. This hotel is easy walking distance from MANY wonderful restaurants. Recommended.

We arrived at the hotel at around 2am and was greeted with a glass of bubbles by the fantastic Vincente. He was super helpful, informative and friendly (even at that time in the morning). Didn’t meet any staff that werent helpful or friendly. He gave us a map and wrote down useful transport links etc. We were also given a room upgrade. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. We payed for breakfast and it was well worth it, a lovely selection and the pastries were delicious. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to Las Ramblas, Mercado de La Boqueria, Basilica de Santa Maria del Pi just to name a few and close to a station. We loved finding other ways back to the hotel seeing all the beautiful buildings, street art and finding hidden gems of the gothic quarter and other areas rather than walking down Las Ramblas but that was just our preference. Perfect spot for exploring Barcelona. We will definitely stay again!!

Stayed one night before a cruise from Barcelona and my travel agent picked this hotel. I’m so glad they did! The hotel is really well located in the gothic quarter - I got the aerobus from the airport and it was a couple of minute walk from the last stop. Check in was quick and very friendly. My room was 404 and was small but perfectly formed with a lovely bathroom. 2 single beds but really comfy and the air con worked well. From 1pm - 8pm they provide free coffee and pastries. Breakfast was a nice surprise with a good buffet selection and eggs to order. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
